Sagar College of education started in 2004 as a pioneering effort to provide well trained teachers for schools as it was realized that education was becoming a major requirement with the rapid growth of population. Well trained teachers are the backbone of any successful educational institution and Sagar College of education has been fulfilling this need. The college has been consistently securing good results and providing internship for its students in reputed schools. The college also has a placement cell to assist trained teachers to render their services to reputed schools.

Presently the college has 200 students enrolled for the Bachelor of Education program recognized by Rani Chanamma University and approximately 1600 students have passed out successfully.
